These terms cover the sale of The Complete Kitchen Set. Buying it means you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be got round.
You are buying digital books supplied as PDF files, and if you took the one time offer at checkout an audiobook supplied as an MP3. Nothing is posted to you. The Complete Kitchen Set is five PDFs sold together as one product, with an optional audiobook offered once at checkout, and the individual books are not sold separately.
You get a personal licence to read, keep and print the files for your own use, including on your own devices and for the people in your own household. You may not resell them, share them publicly, upload them anywhere, or reproduce them for anyone else. Copyright stays with the author.
Prices are shown in US dollars and are the full amount payable. It is a single payment of $47. There is no subscription and no recurring charge of any kind.
Payment is taken through Whop, which handles the transaction and the card details. We never see or store your payment details. Whop's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself, in addition to these terms. Any sales tax or VAT due is collected and remitted by Whop.
Delivery is immediate. The download links appear on screen as soon as payment is confirmed, and the same links are emailed to the address you give at checkout. If neither arrives, write to us and it will be sorted.
Because this is digital content delivered immediately, when you buy it you agree to it being supplied straight away, and you acknowledge that this means you lose any statutory cooling off right to cancel that would otherwise apply to a distance sale. That has to be stated plainly, so it is stated plainly.
Separately from that, and going beyond what the law requires, there is a thirty day refund. If within thirty days of buying you decide it was not what you wanted, write and say so and you are refunded in full. You do not need to give a reason and you keep the files. The refund policy sets out how.
None of this affects your statutory rights, including your right to a remedy if the files are faulty, not as described, or do not work as they should.
These are cookery and home butchery books written from a lifetime of feeding a family. They are general information and they are not professional advice of any kind. They are not nutritional, medical or dietary advice. Nothing in any of the five books, or in the audiobook, is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything, and none of it is a substitute for advice from a doctor, a pharmacist or a qualified professional.
You are responsible for what you cook and what you eat. If you or anyone you cook for has an allergy, an intolerance or a medical condition, check the ingredients yourself and take proper advice.
Follow ordinary food safety practice: cook meat properly, chill and store food safely, and use your own judgement about anything that has been kept. Recommended temperatures, storage times and rules on things like curing and home freezing differ from country to country. Where those rules matter the books say so, but it is your responsibility to find out what applies where you are and to follow it.
The Home Butcher's Guide describes cutting meat at home with a sharp knife. Sharp knives cut people as readily as they cut meat. You are responsible for your own safety and for anyone else in the kitchen, and nothing in that book is a substitute for care and common sense.
The books teach a way of buying and cooking. What that is worth to you depends on what you already buy, where you shop, prices where you live and what you actually cook. No particular saving is promised, guaranteed or implied.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, total liability to you in connection with these products is limited to the amount you paid for them. There is no liability for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.
The books may be updated and corrected over time, and the price may change for future buyers. Neither affects what you have already bought, and later editions of the books are sent to you at no charge. These terms may be updated for future sales, and the version that applies to you is the one published on the day you bought.
These terms are governed by the law of the seller's country of registration, named above. If you are a consumer you can also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and nothing here takes away the protection of the consumer law that applies there.
