Short version. We need your email address to send you the books. We do not sell it, we do not trade it, and you can have it deleted whenever you want.
When you buy, we receive your email address, your name as you give it at checkout, and the details of what you bought and when. Payment is processed by Whop and your card details go to them, not to us. We never see your card number.
If you email us, we hold that email and our reply.
This site runs Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views and roughly where in the world they came from. It does not use cookies, it does not fingerprint your browser, and it does not follow you to any other site. There is no advertising network anywhere on this site.
The checkout is an embedded Whop component, and Whop may set its own cookies to make the payment work and to prevent fraud. Their privacy policy covers that.
We use one small piece of your browser's own storage, on your device only, to remember that you have already been shown the message that appears when you go to leave the page. It never leaves your computer and it is cleared when you close the tab.
To deliver what you bought, to send your download links and receipt, to handle refunds and support, and to keep the records that tax and accounting rules require. If you ask us a question, to answer it.
If you choose to hear from us about new books or later editions, we use your email for that too. That is optional, it is never a condition of buying, and every message has an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
Performing our contract with you, for delivery and support. Legal obligation, for financial records. Consent, for any marketing email. A legitimate interest in running a small business honestly, for the rest.
Whop, who process the payment. Our email provider, who sends the delivery message. Netlify, who host this site, and Cloudflare, who store the files and count the page views. Nobody else, unless the law requires it. We do not sell or rent your details to anyone, ever.
Some of these providers operate outside your country, so your data may be processed abroad. Where that happens it is done under the safeguards that data protection law requires.
Order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Marketing consent until you withdraw it. Support emails for as long as they are useful, and not longer.
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to support@margretmillerkitchen.com and it will be done. There is no charge and no form to fill in.
Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. We would rather you told us first and gave us the chance to put it right.
This is not sold to children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under sixteen.
